Homes in Lower Broughton will soon be rivalling home decoration programmes thanks to Countryside Properties and the Church of the Ascension in Lower Broughton.
Countryside Properties has joined forces with the Church of the Ascension to help with the restoration of the Church’s roof and interior. Beds, tables and settees are just part of the show home collection from the New Broughton development that will be sold by the Church in a bric-a-brac sale, with all money raised from the sale going towards the repairs.
Les Brown, Regional Project Director at Countryside Properties commented: “This exciting initiative with the Church of the Ascension is part of Countryside Properties continuous investment into the community. So far the project has been a huge success, with many local people reaping the benefits of buying the furniture, and also receiving donations to go in their new homes. The money raised will benefit the Church which is such a focal point within the neighbourhood.”
Cannon Wyatt from the Church of the Ascension added: “The furniture sale has been a success so far and the money will really help with the repairs around the Church. Alongside selling the furniture at reduced prices, we are also donating items to families that can’t afford all of the home furnishings that they need.”
Countryside Properties is working in conjunction with the local community in Lower Broughton on the regeneration of the area and its New Broughton development.
