200 lucky children from the Lower Broughton area were treated courtesy of Countryside Properties, Contour Housing Group and Salford Reds on Sunday 11th February to watch the first Super League game of the season - Salford City Reds vs. Leeds Rhino's.

The children from The Friars, St. George's and North Grecian Street Primary Schools and Albion High School in Lower Broughton were taken there and back on transport provided by the partners.  Much to the kids delight, they went onto the pitch before kick off and released 200 Countryside Properties and Salford Reds balloons to mark the start of the work on site at New Broughton.

"It was great to be able to treat the children to such a good day out at the famous Salford Reds and involve them with an activity at the beginning of the match and during half time when they carried out some training with the Salford Reds." added Shahzad Tahir, Regeneration Manager at Contour Housing Group .
