Taking community support to the next level, the new Broughton development in Salford even has its own rugby team, the New Broughton Rangers. The club-which has sprung from the ashes of the Broughton Rugby Club, which folded more than 75 years ago – will play on a new pitch at the Countryside Properties development. Work on the second phase of the project has just begun.
