Karina Schwarzer has joined Countryside Properties as the firm’s community liaison officer for its redevelopment scheme in Salford. Schwarzer, who has previously worked for Lovell Partnerships as tenant liaison officer in Manchester and Merseyside, will be based on site in Lower Broughton, where she will work closely with the community and stakeholders to develop new resident groups and in promoting new local facilities. She told Show House: “Having worked in the construction industry for the last two years, I’ve seen the groundbreaking regeneration work the Countryside Properties has carried out. The work being carried out in Lower Broughton involves several different partners and hundreds of residents, so effective communication is vital. I will play an important role working with all the partners and the community to ensure that the scheme’s progression is communicated clearly and concisely to the residents involved and to answer any queries they may have.”
Les Brown, regional project director for Lower Broughton at Countryside Properties , added: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Katrina to the team. Her experience will prove hugely beneficial, and should play a key role in the success of the scheme.”
