The Lower Broughton community has been at the heart of the planning and redevelopment of New Broughton over the past two and a half years and will continue to be involved throughout the regeneration process over the next 10 to 15 years.  It is an integral part of the development and the future of Lower Broughton. 

An intensive consultation process has taken place.  This has involved Countryside Properties, Salford City Council and Contour Housing meeting with the local community regularly to discuss the development.  The local community has also developed a steering group who represent the community and its views.
