Salford residents have met representatives of developer Countryside Properties to discuss designs fro the next phase of the mixed-use New Broughton regeneration scheme.
Salford City Council and Countryside Properties plan to redevelop 75ha of the Lower Broughton area rto deliver more than 3,500 mixed-tenure homes in the next 15 years. The development also includes shops and community facilities.
The scheme will invest just over £5000 million in the area, the developer said.
“The local community are really passionate about the way the houses will be designed,” project director Les Brown said. “We’ve been consulting with residents for the last four years.”
