Just as spring turns into summer, local residents - both young and old - will have the opportunity to make the most of local expertise to help make the most out of their gardens.
Children from the Lower Broughton area are invited to the Church of the Nazerene on Great Clowes Street on 1st June at 11.00am to take part in pot decorating and planting.
Parents don't feel left out - you will have your chance the very next day (2nd June) in the open air at the rear of Talvera Street at 11.00am to take part in making your own baskets and plants in pots.
Beryl Hawke, who is organising the event, is looking forward to a good turn out so make sure you note the date.
