Well let me update you on the second game of the New Broughton Rangers....................... WE WON AGAIN!!! 36-4 over the Cumbrian side Copeland. Once again the team were fabulous and were cheered on by many supporters from the area which was wonderful to see, so many thanks to everyone that attended. I would like to send a very special thank you to Joe Dewsnip (aged 87) and Bill Brady (aged 84) who played for the original Broughton Rangers. These lovely gentlemen braved the weather to come along and show their support for the new team and it was a pleasure and an honour to meet them. Also many thanks to Lee Jewitt (Salford City Reds star) who also came along. It may have thrown it down with rain but the spirit wasn't dampened! The next game is away on Saturday 24th May against Blackpool Sea Eagles and the kick off is at 2.30 pm.
So, i'll leave it here! Until next week...... take care.
