Well hello! Slight change to the blog entries from now on!........ I will be doing them month on month so that it gives a clearer picture of what is going on in one concise entry........ I hope that's ok with you but if you prefer the weekly entries then drop me a line and let me know!
So.............. July 2008 has been busy, busy, busy! Our planning application for Phases 2, 3 and 5 was granted by the Salford City Council Planning Panel on 4th July! This now allows Countryside Properties to continue to build the rest of the development to the high standards that we pride ourselves on. We will be constructing 808 dwellings consisting of apartments and family housing.
Alongisde our success securing the planning, I am very pleased to announce that SPACE New Living will be joining the Partnership as the new RSL on Phases 2,3 and 5. There will be many community consultation events and drop-in sessions for those individuals that are involved in the next phases and the Partners will be in regular contact as soon as the dates are confirmed.
As for Phase 4 of our development, that is coming along exceptionally well and the first allocation of properties have now been handed over and moved into! Again, as with Phase 1, this is a rolling programme over a number of weeks and I am sure that the people moving in and those that are due to move into thier new homes have been pleased with the way Contour and Salix have conducted their moving process. At this point I would like to wish those people the the best of luck in thier new home, I hope you will be very happy.
Block F is very nearly complete and the 1 bedroomed and 2 bedroomed show apartments have now been furnished and are waiting to be officially opened to the public (they are lovely by the way!). Once I have a date for public viewing I will let you know.
