Monday 10 March 2008
It is going to be a very busy week this week for me with lots and lots of meetings regarding the development and the community. From New Broughton Rangers to the University, from Salix to GMP!
Speaking of the New Broughton Rangers, I have been asked to sit on the committee for the New Broughton Rangers which I am delighted to accept. There are to be many meetings along the way to ensure the success of the club and I urge you to attend if you can and support your local community team in their infancy. For further details please contact either myself on 01925-248900 or Debbie Baker on 07506-736752.
Sport Relief Weekend is on from the 14-16 March 2008. Sport Relief harnesses the power and passion of sport to change lives for the better. By doing sport, having fun and raising money, everyone can do good and feel good. Comic Relief spends the money to help vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both at home in the UK and in the world’s poorest countries.
The Sport Relief 2008 ultimate challenge is doing the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile where hundreds of thousands of people across the country will take to the streets and go the distance.
